We cared for that girl, we protected her, and through Joel’s point of view we saw her grow into her own. The characters that the game has introduced us to will not be forgotten for some time now and Ellie has risen in popularity and endearment in many gamer’s eyes. Its story is being heralded by many as the penultimate tale of this generation. The Last of Us has been so highly received with a large number of 10 out of 10 reviews, including our own. After three masterful entries in the Uncharted series, Naughty Dog once again struck gold and this time they did it in a post apocalyptic world. Sony and the gaming community has great faith in Naughty Dog and for good reason. Its even rarer to have so many games that we can showcase as epics. When a developer creates such an icon, and then does it again, you know you have something special. Its rare to have a gaming generation last this long. It was Naughty Dog, just as Crash once did for the PS1, that brought a face to the forefront of console gaming for Sony.
When Uncharted hit store shelves, it was marked as the beginning of a golden age for the once ailing console.
